Why Mzuri?
Mzuri was created to solve a real, everyday problem: dryness that won't go away, especially for melanated skin. Traditional lotions and washes smell good and feel good, but they don't keep skin moisturized.
We took a different approach. Using African Black Soap, Shea Butter, Aloe, and nutrient-rich plant oils, our formulas gently cleanse, deeply hydrate, and lock in softness — all day, every day.

Meet The Founders
Mzuri was co-founded by Toun and Tunde Olawoye, both with backgrounds in clinical research, and a personal understanding of dry, eczema-prone skin.
Tired of skincare that promised hydration but never delivered, Toun began formulating with both lived experience and scientific rigor. Tunde brought that same research-driven discipline to how Mzuri sources, tests, and operates.
